Sorry I'm late, I got lost on the road of life.

I’m not dead

Posted by Vivienne on November 29, 2009

I just disappeared a bit ;)

Well, during work I always sit in front of a laptop, so once I’m home I’m actually almost fed up with computers for the rest of the day (or night) and additionally I have to work on all the christmas presents for friends and family. Sorry but I can’t post pictures here, because some of them read this blog and it would suck for them to see what they get :D

The rest of my life is pretty quiet… OH!!!! There is some good news I need to tell you :D :D :D just for nothing my body decided to loose 6 pounds. I’m still eating chocolate, having my extreme-couching sundays… Seriously, I don’t know what happens, but it feels really good :D I just hope I won’t gain it all again once all the christmas cookies magically appear in front of my nose LOL

So, how’s your life been the last few days/ weeks?? :)

Come to speak of work: there is soooo incredibly much to do, that “co-workers” (remember, I’m just an intern) work many many additional hours, sometimes way too many. In my opinion one solution would be to work more efficiently (seriously!!! I don’t want to give out too many details, but there is definitely a huge potential!) buuuut maybe that makes room for me ;) First experiences in project management there and then moving on to the real good jobs? :D would be awesome, so keep your fingers crossed in your mind for me please, it means the world to me :) )))

News & Issues

Posted by Vivienne on November 14, 2009

Sorry for not posting anything since weeks, it’s just been busy and then no news for this blog afterall. All I do is get up, go to work, work, go back home via train, eat, read sth or do some small things that pile up when life happens  like sewing the pocket of my coat and then go to bed.

There is one great thing still to mention: work is fun actually. It’s my worst nightmare to have a work that I hate, that I hate to get up for in the morning, that gives me a bad mood when I just think about it… I’m happy ;)

Now to the issues: I do have issues with finding presents for people. No matter how much I love to hand out presents, it’s really hard to find good ones. This year for christmas it’s even harder, because I’m on a really tight budget, so all presents will have to be very small in the material sense. What I then thought of was, maybe I can create some presents myself because I do have quite some crafting supply. So I would love to ask you my dear readers what sort of presents can be handmade and have, maybe within your very own experience, been accepted at christmas with a real smile?

I’m counting on your input! :D and of course on googles abilities to get me on the right pages today so I can start this weekend :D

btw: no more pillows, promised! ;)

Weihnachts-Give-Away

Posted by Vivienne on October 28, 2009

Was gibt es?

Was ihr tun müsst?

Sonst noch was?

———————->>>>>>>>>>> Also, wer mag…? :D

WEITERSAGEN    AUSDRÜCKLICH    ERLAUBT!!!!! :D

A First

Posted by Vivienne on October 24, 2009

So yesterday I did was I was actually refusing for 3 years.

Class reunion.

Since we graduated from school in 2006 there have been several reunions and when they asked me to show up my answer was always that I’ll be interested in reunions after 5 years. Why? I grew up in a rural area and had the urge to leave it and never come back, at least for a while :D Actually I grew up in a village and getting to school with trains/busses took soooo long, that I had to get up 5.30 in the morning to be in school at 8. Going out on weekends involved MASSIVE planning and being nice (nice = talking) to an ex boyfriend I didn’t like anymore, but well he had the only car available.

Maybe now someone understands how I wanted to leave sooo badly LOL

In those 3 years I studied, spent a year in a foreign country in a huge city and came back ‘home’. That time “gone” gave me the chance to realize where home is and what it means to me. Hello, there are so incredibly many memories here, WOW and it’s so easy to forget about them all until you’re back and get a flashback! So this time when they called me I answered, surprisingly for them :D , with “yes I’ll be there”.

The reunion was yesterday and I have to admit I was a bit scared, would I be the same, would anyone else have developed greatly, how is everyone doing and can I keep up with that? Would we have something to talk about or just stand somewhere in our old school (!!) and try to come up with topics like the weather?!

One thing was clear from the beginning: I was seriously the only one who gained weight. Really. Everyone else is the same or even lost several pounds. —-> I need to work on that!!! :D

Other than that I was somewhat pleased to find that people I couldn’t stand 3 years ago are still people I can’t stand, the ones I was somewhat friends with are still friends, I even got several invitations for visits (feels great) from people with whom the relationship was only friendly and not real friends… We ended up in a great bar (that I haven’t been in for years!) talking, laughing, no artifical “making conversation”…

I’ll think I’ll come back next year ;)

Cynicism – an’ loving it!

Posted by Vivienne on October 22, 2009

We all know them.

The fashion blogs. So cool, so well known, so innovative, colorful, so incredibly hip, soooo…  well … fashionable (and most simply imagining they have all those attributes).

While there are some I really enjoy looking at (there’s not much to read after all), some who combine a normal blog and personal stories with their very own taste of fashion (which therefore I love to look at AND read) there is now one that is my favourite for days filled with cynicism.

The Sartorialist is well known, traveling, blogging pictures of so called street style. The ultimate measure of hipness.

Today, I’m proud to introduce…

*drumroll*

The FAKE Sartorialist.

LOVIN IT!!!!!!!!

Seriously, I love it. The creativity behind those pictures is amazing and completely fascinating!

decoration fever

Posted by Vivienne on October 17, 2009

Tooooday there was a sale in a company that produces fabric and guess what – sure of course I went there :D   I found 2 nice fabrics that I will turn into pillowcases for my future new apartment, which I hope to get after the coming internship. I really can’t wait to have my own apartment again, so creating the decorative things helps with the impatience :) Pics follow!

Edit: number one is finished and it was so quick! Amazing, it only took like 30 minutes… Maybe I should produce more :D Click on each pic to get a larger version.

This is only the fabric where I bought hardly enough for just one pillowcase, tomorrow I’m gonna show you the other textile and be prepared, because it’s absolutely beautiful, has class and well is simply beautiful!!! :D

Suchanfrage “soldiers angels echt”

Posted by Vivienne on October 9, 2009

Sorry!

Liebe Grüße

V.
